Martin Margiela (born April 9, 1957 in Genk, Belgium) is a Belgian fashion designer. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp) in 1979, a year before the Avant-garde fashion collective the Antwerp Six.

People as inspiration. In all my art works people plays important role. We are all different from different parts of the world and with different traditions and customs. In each project i try to built the bridge between the cultures and future and past. Many of us don't even know how colorful there life is.
